Support Indie Businesses this Christmas!
Since I'm celebrating creativity today as part of my Annual campaign and Christmas is coming up I thought it might be nice to introduce you to some of my subscribers who also run creative businesses. It turns out that the Procrastination Paper readers are a very creative bunch, so it's a pleasure to introduce you to some of my subscribers and their businesses...
Don't forget if you're a fellow subscriber you can enter the secret password in the Time Wasters' Break Room to find discounts from some of these indie businesses - more coming soon!
Self Love Tool Chest
Handcrafted art, enamel pins, stickers, art and accessories with a focus on mental health and self care, from Nia who is based in the US.
Happy Stuff Studio
Colourful and cheery prints, homeware, t-shirts and jewellery from Victoria.
Handcrafted carrier bag pots with cheeky supermarket-inspired slogans. Stock is always super limited on these and Kim's last shop update before Christmas is on Friday 6th November at 8pm.
Leonie Flower Studio
Leonie sells colourful and pattern-heavy prints and cushions, often inspired by her travels around the world.
Pink Coat Club
Pins and labels (such as these brilliant pet hair labels I need in all of my clothes!) for your homemade wardrobe, all designed by Joy.
Lily in Space Designs
Lily sells all sorts of wonderful treasures - pins, cards, prints, notebooks, tracker pads, coasters... and even her own children's book!
Mirian is based in Spain and sells her beautiful embroideries, as well as downloadable patterns so that you can give it a go yourself!
Giraffes & Unicorns
Feel good art inspired by nature - available as cards, prints, notepads and custom portraits, all beautifully illustrated by Ellie.
Jazzy and colourful polymer clay earrings that will automatically make you the best-dressed person on the Zoom call. Emma has also made some lovely ornaments for your Christmas tree!
Chimps Tea Party
Pippa makes gorgeous cintage-inspired homewares, headscarves, badges and cards from her collages. I'm particularly fond of this drinks tray and her Christmas table runners!
Kate makes colourful statement jewellery from materials that would otherwise go to waste - like these earrings made from old bouncy castles (and offcuts from Wyatt & Jack bags).
Husband and wife team hello DODO make fun and colourful screenprinted and sustainable sweatshirts and tees for children and adults. These two love a pun! (Their shop is currently closed but they'll be back with a bang on 30 October)
Upsy Daisy Craft
Quirky, colourful, handmade ceramics from Nat that will help you send a little bit of sunshine to your loved ones this Christmas!
Danni's marshmallows will have your mouth watering from the moment you set eyes on them. She's based in Australia and usually ships to the UK, US and New Zealand, but right now is only shipping within Australia, due to Covid.
Emma Jewell Crafts
Emma makes craft-inspired goodies that would compliment any Christmas stocking!
Pip & Lil Original
Super-soft reusable face wipes, makeup bags and scrap-busting goodies, handmade by Sarah using bright and bold fabrics.
Anne's super cute illustrations of cats and plants and other wonderful things make great gifts, no matter what form they come in (stickers, pins, patches, jewellery apparel...). Her next drop for her legendary ceramics is on 29th November, but you'll have to be quick as they always sell out super fast!
Colourful and fun statement jewellery, all crafted from plastics that would otherwise end up in landfill! You might remember Lorelai from the sustainability issue of the Procrastination Paper.
Cat Food Cakes
Treats BY Cat, not FOR cats. What better to receive through the post than cake?! Cat's cake box subscription is quite possibly one of the best gifts you could give and her brownies are to die for!
The Sidlaw Hare
Create your own storytime magic with one of Wendy's kamishibai story books and handcrafted frames.
Pins and patches inspired by all of Jenni's favourite things (such as Dolly Parton, Twin Peaks and art history). I'm a big fan of these C.R.E.A.M patches!).
Fun illustrated cards and gifts, illustrated by Fiona and produced in the UK.
That Jen Lamb
Bright, bold and contemporary prints by Jen. I love these houseplant lino prints.
Fun Scotland-inspired cards and gifts with a hint of nostalgia and a retro feel.
Aren't my subscribers a talented bunch?! Don't forget you can still support the Procrastination Paper Annual Kickstarter (until 5th November) and buy 3 month gift subscriptions or monthly subs.
